Hm, I will agree that the chorus definitely stood out and was unexpected. It really brought up this vibe that just had you bopping along with it. Though, I find that the song didn't really pull me in until then. Again, this can all be biased as I am not someone who has been into kpop for a while, but coming from a music background I just found that I felt like there was something missing during the verses, most specially the opening. Though apart from the music, the set design is SPECTACULAR. What blew me away the most were the shots of them under the laser-light with the smoke passing by, and the visual of that had my jaw drop. It really hit hard with the theme of the video, so whoever thought of that idea probably had a field-day after thinking about it. Overall, I still find it really nice and would give it a listen again, cool to listen to and watch to as a first-timer!
