So happy you've checked Call Back! The earnesty you've talked about is what many of us really love about Minho - he's super passionate, super talented and super humble. He's honest about everything and he has been telling is how excited he is about this release ever since August. He's just a really sincere guy, who is INCREDIBLY underrated - both in his velvety vocals which I honestly love so much, and in his dancing as well, where he is so fluid and powerful. I'd like to correct one thing a bit - Call Back is not his first album, but rather his first studio album. There was Chase solo debut EP in December 2022, which, I think, you haven't reacted to. That has a completely different mood and has a super cinematic MV which Minho was very involved in. I will be eagerly waiting for the Listening Party for the album - it's made of some really great songs and it also has two collaborations, one with Riize's Sohee and another with Aespa's Ningning. The album is really fun and very well-made. Also, let me tell this - SHINee soloists are just killing it this year, giving us quality music after quality music.

I think Minho in general has a type of vibe and aesthetic that, not that it doesn’t exist anymore, but it’s not as mainstream. It’s that old school heartthrob classic “hero” archetype kind of guy. Most of his album photos have him using older car models and even his fashion kinda feels like that. So seeing him release stuff feels so refreshing and interesting since he keeps that vibe going. I’ve heard someone say before that shinee finds you when you really need it, seems like this is your time now!! Would love to see you react to some older albums like 1 of 1 and very excited to see if you’ll do a concert reaction to 2014 Tokyo dome because concert halls is where shinee really well… shines lol!!

Minho is such an underrated dancer, the way he moves to me seems like a perfect mix between Key’s sharpness and Taemin fluidity. It’s soft and sensual but powerful and precise at the same time. The choreo for this is pretty complex, one of the best I’ve seen in a while! Also yes he is built. A lot. He shares his gym routine on insta everyday lol. But he said that to not lose fluidity he has started doing classical ballet this year. I can’t wait for the album reaction, it’s another damn good album :)

i really love that for minho being “flaming charisma minho”, being shinees charismatic rapper, his solo music is really the most chill of all the members. it’s a style i don’t think all people would pin on him just from seeing him in shinee stuff but it suits him SO well. the entire album is fabulous, minho has really done it again

I feel like it’s because SHINee members have mature and well structured voices. They truly add more layers. Like this song could’ve been much more basic but his tone adds such a satisfying sound. I loved that outro too!!!! I was swaying in my chair when I heard this for the first time

Fun fact about Minho: His Masters (I believe) is in Film and Acting. His movies are *much better* than his tv dramas, where he's unfortunately always slotted into 'pretty'. The day he does a villain role will be the day everyone will understand the quality of actor he is. (Derailed, with Ma Dong Seok/Don Lee was written with Minho in mind) I genuinely believe he'll step into the director's chair one day, as all of his music videos have a certain cinematic element to them. He loves RnB! He is an *incredible* dancer. Very graceful and light on his feet. He's recently taken up ballet, but in his earlier lite entertainment work with Taemin, both did Latin dance and yoooo Minho's hips do not lie! His father is CHoi Yun Kyum, currently a soccer coach, and who played for Korea internationally. MInho's an Arsenal fan and all around sports nut "There's no game I can't play". Minho has the mot writing credits in SHINee apart from Jonghyun and has a secret account where he writes. He's not about to tell us where it is. You can really hear his singing voice in SHINee concerts and in their Japanese discography, which are mostly new songs for Jwols (the best wols). I think you'll love love looooove the album - it's on repeat for me! And definitely listen to Call Back in the car, the whole song is just an incredible vibe.
