Fun little facts: “One step, two steps” is a B-side in Liar Liar’s mini album. It was actually one of fans favorite and always being rated as their hidden gem along with “Closer” ( both were the song choice to perform in Jaejae’s MMTG in 2021 but members chose to perform “Closer” in the end). Yes, Twilight is a B-side song in “Remember me” mini album that members chose for Fandora round (round 3) with their Vampire concept (Thank you Jiho for the awesome idea). And Yes, “Guerilla” was their Final song. “Secret garden” was the song that got them the first win, “Remember me” was released later in that year. Members cherished this song very much especially Hyojung as they had mentioned it’s the song that really turned things around for them. It supposed to be their last chance of breaking through after their struggle to find success in their early career and if the result was still the same, the company would let them go and disbanded the group. Luckily, the song was successful and they became what they are today. For me, it’s one of my Top 5 K-pop song ever and I still listen to it frequently without getting bored after all these years at all hahaha.

Oh My Girl has been THAT GROUP for me for since I saw Closer when it dropped in 2015 and got chills (and still do! That rap bridge and high notes!) — I believe in these girls, their performance ability on and off stage, oh my girls artistry needs to be STUDIED — I can firmly say they’re one of the reasons I first got into Kpop and introduced me to the greatness that is girl groups ;;; and as a young woman growing up OMG helped me embrace femininity and the power in soft/femme things—strength in earnestness

Coming at this from a different perspective.....the actual KOREAN lyrics. Many international fans just will not get how poetic and beautiful their lyrics are through subtitles. The balance of allegorical phrases vs direct phrasing is next level GOD tier lyric writing ESPECIALLY if you compare it to 4th/5th gen songs where producers and lyricists have just totally given up the art of lyric writing and now just use lyrics as another percussion instrument. All this being said, 1 Step 2 Step has such beautiful lyrics but in actuality, the slight dissonance of Remember Me having such incredibly beautiful lines on top of this heavy EDM beat makes the song one of my top 2 OMG songs

It's unfortunate you missed the Summer Comes era at the time for one main reason.....that was when Hyojung went blonde and insisted on every single promo show that she was changing her image to now being the "sexy member" and literally watching every single host hold their laughs in (the Knowing Bros, Ggondaehee, etc)

Secret Garden did more than just get them their first win. Before they released it, their CEO said if that album didn't do well he'd release all of them from their contracts and disband the group (which, kudos to him.....a crappier CEO would've just kept idols on ice and let the contract continue on and have the debt grow). It's the song that saved Oh My Girl

Twilight was actually on the Remember Me album but they performed it during Queendom during the Fandora's Box round where they were all vampires (YooA had a bloinde wig on, Yubin had crazy long extensions. Its when hyejeong from AOA was going crazy about how pretty Seunghee was in the reaction shots). The version for Queendom is SLIGHTLY different from the original in arrangement and production which is why they list Queendom version here

Off topic, but not really! For the longest time there were two groups who were always compared to one another. So I thought I'd continue the trend. (don't get triggered people. I love both groups.) Lovelyz has also come together and filmed a Killing Voice. I hope you react to it as well.

Yubin has some of my favorite vocals and add so much to the richness of OMG, she adds a very emotional depth to the music that grounds it! Also she’s soooooo beautiful 😭 she’s such a charming performer

I’m an equal lover of Oh My Girls fantastical emotional side AND their pop side but I feel like the bsides in the pop genre have THE BEST PARTY SONGS LIKE TWILIGHT GOES SO HARD, their party dance stuff is just legendary and the public should know about it too !!
