thank you so much for checking out 44 because i might have missed it otherwise. WOW, agreed 100%: it is art and it is a journey, and holy crap what an incredible marriage of video, audio, idea, and musical execution - every light and every beat has a physical quality of joy tinted with sorrow bc of the memento mori context (great reading of that message btw). also... and it might just be the melody and part of the lyric in the chorus... but this song feels like a rebellious, sullen teenage EDM child of death cab for cutie's "i will follow you into the dark". (i am old)
