I grew up on Step Up movies too & I agree the choreo brings the song into another level! Regarding the facial expressions… Do you remember what JYP said to Koki’s performances? Once you figure out everything about the movement of your body that you don’t think about it at all, you can start to add the facial expressions to make it perfect (as Koki was doing the whole time). Therefore yes, being able to including the facial acting means they are good dancers
