To me the choreo here seems more playful than what the message is. The song, though upbeat, seems to have undertones of sentimentality (I think is similar to what you said). But, the movements I feel could be larger and have more impactful slower parts but like I said, it seems a little too playful rather than moving

The crazy thing about Good So Bad not fitting ZB1 well is that Gunwook said Kenzie wrote it specifically for them, but as a fan, I get the feeling she wrote it more with specific members in mind rather than ZB1 as a whole. It's just wild to me that a song that's supposedly for ZB1 doesn't showcase each of member's strengths, especially when they're so obvious/known at this point. Ricky, for example, is a secret weapon in ZB1, imo, vocally/tonally, yet it isn't utilized. Also, ZB1, in general, is one of the few groups, imo, where the members really have different/easily distinguishable voices/tones, yet I don't think that's used to its full potential either. A lot of this is the fault of their production/mixing, too, though, and I think it's been a recurring problem with their songs.

watching this after your kill the romeo mini marathon and while I was more so disagreeing with your take (the take being that ktr is the "better" or I think you said something about the "more zb1" song) on that video I kinda see and somewhat understand what you are saying here I personally still think that good so bad - even with choreo as it is (which I personally think isn't just "cute" but also... hopeful?, but I do agree doesn't quite fit with the song) - is "more zb1", simply because I associate zb1's group identity with a feeling of nostalgia and hope and new beginnings and found family and.. I guess just sentimentality? and good so bad (alongside yura yura and in bloom) are imo the songs that convey those feelings the most in their discography (and are title track worthy) but I do also agree that zb1 are an incredible (live) performance group, probably partially because of their experience with a survival show, and that songs like ktr and sweat are (imo) equally as fitting for their group and group image - which is why I think they are perfect songs for promotion along their respective title tracks

Wow... Watching the performances again and GsB suits Hao and Hanbin so well, they're really good at delivering emotions through their dancing and facial expressions. Tho I must say... I feel like whoever produced this song was like "oh! There's Ricky still 😬! what we gonna do..." and squeezed him in somehow (and that's no critique on Ricky! I love them all ❤️). I can imagine Ricky singing one of the most emotional parts of the song, maybe one of Hao's cause he had a lot of lines. The song's vibe suits ZB1 but the song itself doesn't if that makes sense, I'm okay with not all songs suiting all members but at least for a title track... all of them should fit. I was a lil bit worried about jiwoong but I thinks he did well overall, he should smile more on concepts like that when performing tho! He's so cute when he does 🥺 My favorite parts are definitely Gyuvin's rap with the "grr" 😆, Gunwook's "you in my head" and Matthew's bridge, my boy just sounds so hurt! he delivered the emotions really well with his beautiful tone ❤️ Now about the choreo... I don't really have a problem with it for the most part, I think it's fun! But I agree with you on your take about Matthew's and Hanbin's choreo during the bridge... I think Matthew should have a better focal point or a center position, at the MV he's all curled up feeling alone so why does the choreo doesn't deliver that message well 🥲? Also, I loooove Hanbin's bridge as much as you but the choreo totally ruined the vibe 😭 he's doing way too much with his arms like... boy! just look at me with teary eyes while you walk forward and sing to me!!! That's all I need hahahha But overall this is still one of my favorite ZB1 tracks cause it feels very "next level" conceptual wise

Hao and Hanbin balance out each other and compliment each other and make the group so united… This is what is missing in Kep1er for me. Yurina and Xiaoting should’ve been, what hao and hanbin are to ZB1. What Sakura and Wonyoung where for IZ*One, what Seungwoo and Seungyeon where for X1, what Sunghoon and Jay are for Enhyphen, what BoEun and Seonyou are for Class:y. It’s a vibe I cannot explain. But it’s there. It’s a vibe Kep1er is missing. And it genuinely think it is due to that reason. And it is that simple of a reason. Every group kinda of has that one “duo” in the group. Almost like the group “pillars”? And these tend to be the most obvious from survival show created groups.

Wow, never thought of it that way but I hard agree! Yurina and Xiaoting would have been great yin and yangs of each other. Imo it's like the dynamic of Yujin and Wonyoung in IVE and why that group feels so powerful.

i get what everyone is saying about good so bad but it’s a perfect comeback for me (choreo wise and song-wise, although the fact that it doesn’t showcase some members well is definitely a shame). it gives me that nostalgic, longing, playful feeling that they were going for perfectly. this is one of my favorite TTs from them 🥹🥹 maybe after in bloom

btw my comment about hao in kill the romeo applies even more to good so bad. he gives me chills
