woo dohwan is truly a phenomenal actorrrr i cant to see more gunwoo when season 2 is out

i do also worry that season 2 might not hold up to the perfection that bloodhounds surmounted to as a shorter series. i'm nervous and excited to see what more they could add to the story when it already feels nicely wrapped up.

LOL yesss I believe Netflix just greenlit season 2 and they're going to start production soon!

Edward Lee

It's so weird seeing Lee Sang-Yi currently on the new Shin Minah drama 'No Gain, No Love' playing kind of a weanie weak chaebol son after Bloodhounds (and btw....he has an episode of Code Mate with Oh My Girl Seunghee which was top tier entertainment for that show)

I’ve appreciated the show more on this re watch, not that I didn’t like it before but it felt like the momentum and energy that I loved died a bit with the write off of Hyeonju knowing the circumstances (and the stuff with killing him and his pregnant wife was a little too disturbing for personal tastes but I acknowledge that’s more realistic) but knowing where it was going to end I think I liked it more but still ah one more terrible monologue from Kim Myeongil or at least seeing him in prison would’ve had them in a hug being the last scene feel a little better, I completely acknowledge that this is subjective tho // Lee Sangyi and Lee Dohwan and their chemistry have left such an impression, memorable for sure them in the show was ELECTRICITY

I've loved Woo Dohwan as an actor since I watched Mad Dog and he was the reason why I watched this show in the first place. I had heard a lot about it when it was released and I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch something was so sad and violent (which is funny considering Weak Hero Class 1 and My Name are two of my favorite kdramas), but I knew I had to watch it for Woo Dohwan and it did not disappoint. It was really fun rewatching the show with you and seeing that I was still able to smile and laugh in the upbeat parts despite knowing what was going to happen to my favorite characters. It just shows how well this show was written, directed, and acted. I'm looking forward to season 2 (which should be released 2025 if I'm not mistaken), but I really hope they come up with a story that lives up to season 1

I feel the same worries about season 2!! but i think my excitement getting to see Woo Dohwan as Gunwoo again overshadows my worries. season one made me really love these two main characters.
