Yeah I’ve been really wanting your thoughts on this bc of the changed writing and pacing from external issues of Saeron having to step out— I still don’t know how to feel about it, even disregarding hyeonju, like by being essentially at ground zero with the base and whole crew dying as the penultimate didn’t feel right, like them getting to the end so quickly in the next episode didn’t feel as good as the rest of the series (if this were a movie I could understand but as a miniseries I wish it had two more episodes)

I was so confused from time skip after the intro, like I thought it was a dream sequence of them being in the marines together especially bc we didn’t know anything about this place and the colors were completely different ?? Like more vibrant cinematography and the scenery was lush all of the sudden that I thought we were in either of their dreams ; I was just missing so much context it felt hard to catch up on what the writers were putting down like I’m stupid or missed a scene

apparently the actress that plays hyeonju had a scandal while filming this show, thats also one of the reasons why they had to ‘cut off’ her character 🥲

i felt like this show had SOOOO much potential before they very clearly had to change the script during filming after saeron had to leave the show. i actually really enjoyed the last two episodes, but i just didn't feel like it was the same show as the 6 episodes before. i love gunwoo and woojin, though-- my attachment to them that the previous 6 episodes already built kept me going happily through the final 2 episodes either way.

-i thought it wasn't bad for a sudden character writeoff too! watching her walk off in a daze (during that fadeaway) was a pretty good shot to explain a lot of the emotions she may have been feeling in that moment... -gunwoo looks jackeeddd during these last two episodes. he said he went up two weight classes and meant it!! but btw there's about 16 (?) weight classes in boxing, so it doesn't mean he jumped from lowest to highest. it probably menas he gained about 4-8kg depending on what weight class he was initially -gunwoo finding out he can hold his liquor while in the middle of chugging a full glass of whiskey neat was so cute haha -"he's so cute. she's so cute. I SHIP THEM" the demons took over for a sec lmaoooo
