like the other comments, i recommend watching nct lastart! it's really good, where you get to learn the members and also see a bit of what sm considers when making a group. They also sing a lot of sm classics for the stages and they're quite good! a very vocally talented group.

Love NCT Wish, upset bc Shotaro, Sungchan, Seunghan, Eunseok, and Shohei were supposed to be in it with probably Yushi (blue) and Sion (blonde). But nevertheless NCT: LASTART is great and sad once you end and realize something which I won't spoil lol but definitely check it out

I think if Shotaro, SungChan, SeungHan, Shohei and EunSeok debuted in NCT Tokyo/Wish, they would have not added more members, because SungChan and Shotaro did performances with only those 3 + in general it really felt like: “we are introducing only these 3 to debut in this unit” (based on their NCT Universe videos). But if they added more members, it would have been 2 Japanese members, I would say. Therefore Yushi would have had a big chance + possibly someone from the NCT Lastart like Riku, but I can imagine SM keeping both Sion and Yushi for Riize instead of SungChan and Shotaro and because of that they would have had to add someone else (if they wanted to).
