It's really cool to watch three dancers dance in the same style right next to each other. Like you really get to see what's common to the genre and what's special about each dancer. j-hope has this natural swag and joy that he brings to the moves that just makes you smile but, you're right, Haknam and Woong both infuse their own spirits to show locking in a different way. It makes me really appreciate what the dance is. And j-hope did explain that each song was written not just to thematically fit the theme of the episode, but to be danced to with the style of dance highlighted in the episode. So the episode narrative is reflected in the lyrics and the episode dance style is reflected in the song style/production/beat. Which is so j-hope, btw. He always thinks about his art and music on so many different levels and it's always just webs of interweaving concept and narrative. His mind is beautiful, I swear! I thought it was funny when Haknam talked about how weird it was to dance with him on the streets of Osaka and then suddenly see him perform at Mama. haha. j-hope filmed those over the same couple of days so imagine going from vibing in the pink sweater to totally burning the Mama stage down as the Headliner with MORE and Arson?? I love that duality he has so much. It's fun re-watching these with you! Thanks!

I, too, consider this one of my favorite episodes in the series--with episode 4 (Paris) being my favorite overall. I enjoyed this series immensely. It was celebrated street dance, had a great soundtrack and was very well put together. It was also great to see Jhope rediscovering his joy and inspiration again as well as hearing about the other dancers journeys as well.
