EVNNE really surprised me with this track... I loved UGLY & TROUBLE, but Badder Love is just the bg sound that I ADORE. It is such a beautiful track. I feel like you'd really love the rest of their songs off this EP, PD.

that is lee jeonghyeon doing the falsetto!! every single one is him!! they talked about this at showcase but the A&R people had them all record a version to see who did it best and they were shocked but jeonghyeon and jihoo had their favorite falsettos, and they ended up picking jeonghyeon's because he had the prettiest!! it's so cool to see. his role in this whole album is largely jeonghyeon flexing his skills as a vocalist and listening through made me very emotional because he's been very open about how hard he's been working on his vocals in particular over the past six months! evnne has a core vocal trio in seungeon/yunseo/hanbin, but jeonghyeon has been pulling his weight more and more with every release and you'll notice he sings off of/sets up seungeon a lot!! it's really interesting, they have him doing a similar role that yunseo does as primary lead vocal where his biggest thing is he supports the main vocal while also sharing lines, except jeonghyeon usually gets unique lines while still supporting seungeon! once you notice it it's really interesting. jeonghyeon/yunseo both have contrasting but extremely complimentary voices re: seungeon and hearing them back to back with him really helps seungeon's already gorgeous voice shine while ALSO giving them a beautiful contrast that helps them shine in turn.
