yeah pretty sure those girls died because they jumped off a building and a virtual angel cannot, in fact, be there for you when your wings break lmao. they're virtual. this whole story feels like a depressing criticism of the kind of dangerous hyper-parasociality that some orbits tend to exhibit (especially on twitter lol). i think the rapid cuts, as others have said, is a reference to the idea of not being able to look directly at an angel unless you wanna go blind insane or die or something, which seems supported by the scene with jinsoul on the screen and the words "be not afraid" which the biblical angels literally had to say to people every time they showed up because they're actually canonically terrifying lovecraftian monsters in their true forms. it also, however, feels very eeaao-coded. like how fast everything on the internet moves. it could be a reference to how so many orbits intertwine loona with everything they do, to the point that maybe they don't have interests or hobbies outside of that. and finally, semi-related to the looking at an angel thing, i think it's meant to symbolize that we DON'T really know them, and we never truly can. to us, they are "virtual angels" and just as you can never look at the true form of an angel, orbits can never see or know the true forms of artms/loona because it's only a parasocial relationship, not a personal one. very very good concept for them.

I love your view of it; it's very dark. I went completely the opposite, lol. I just assumed the worship girls (fans) were coming together to bring them back from Eden. When they come together, the members finally appear in the human world (buildings in the back), and they show the worship girls dead, which I assumed was fans giving their lives for them to "come back" after what happened to LOONA. I kind of prefer the darker twist tho.
