I'm so happy you're checking out Taeyong's second solo release! Sonically, TAP is quite different from Shalala, but it holds the same quirky and playful feel that seems to be the growing signature of Taeyong. As the usual, the rest of the album holds quite a different vibe compared to the title track, and I will confidently tell you that it's another good release. Just gonna put a note here regarding NCT's solo music so far here, since I watched your reactions to Taeyong, Mark, and Doyoung all at once. Each solo debut has been knocking it out of the park, honestly. It's actually relieving to see each NCT member come out with their own music and participate quite significantly in terms of the direction and sound of the release. No one has even been a bit disappointing so far. We're finally getting to see the artistry and personal expression of these members outside a group context. I've always known that NCT holds immense talent as a whole, and the style and forwardness of NCT's music has probably been restricting for certain members. But it's only until this year where I realized that, oh we're going to get some amazing music as the members from this group grow into their own as soloists in the coming years. I can't wait for Taeil, Mark, and Jaehyun's debuts, which I believe are the incoming solos to expect from NCT. P.S. Unsure if you're aware, but you've got Ten's 1st mini album 'TEN' to check out if you want to be fully caught up with NCT recent solo releases.

Thank you for this! I really enjoyed tap too but i think shalala’s mv is better budget wise 😂 please check out his b-sides too! This TAP album is truly superior! I wonder how he can tap this second album next

im so happy ive waited eagerly for months :'D PLEASEEEE do an album reaction, the album is so amazing and Taeyong wrote the entirety of every song and he also composed and produced them with his friends.

Also, the Japanese concept is from that Japanese show called ''Old enough'' that became really viral and you can find it on Netflix, its super cute and its about little kids being sent on their first errand and Taeyong had to shoot this mv literally between concerts when he was in Japan, he was in a time crunch and almost didnt get the green light to release his album bc as we know SM sucks and they didnt plan things properly to give him the time and effort he deserved for his album specially right before enlistment but anyways, he pushed for it and managed to release it and its a literal masterpiece. every song is so good and beautiful and personal, again I really hope you do an album reaction to it <3
