~Hello, my wonderful walking lunch boxes!~


This is Cimex here with your weekly update. In case you've forgotten, I'm the bug who haunts the code of all our CattleCrew games. Unfortunately, Void, our resident hype-dog, needed to take a week to themselves for... reasons. I don't know. Don't ask.


Thankfully, I'm here to fill you in on all the delicious, juicy gossip about what the team has been up to over the last week! Aren't you all so lucky?


The Art Team has been busy producing concept work on backgrounds for the game, as well as trying out some spiffy style choices for dialog and menu boxes. I mean, just look at how colorful those textboxes are! Positively disgusting! We're debating adding the option to let the player choose which color they would prefer to use during their playthrough. Let us know what you think in the comments below or on the discord!


The Writing Team, the diligent little chipmunks that they are, have already finished the rough draft for all of the first transformation and have started fleshing out events after it. I've taken a peek myself and, trust me, you're gonna like it. [*Smarmy Wink Here*]


The Music Team has made a revolutionary breakthrough in auditory technology. Turns out, having instruments vastly increases the quality of the music created! That's right, morsels! Everything that our dear music director produced up to this point has been using outdated and limited technology. While they're still getting all the tools hooked up and ready, the few demo pieces they've produced so far promise good things for the future of our little projects here.


Finally, you may be wondering: "Cimex, you handsome and sly bug you, what have you been up to?" Well, I'm glad you asked. And by glad, I mean, "Stop asking questions—I'm busy." But if you must know, the Game Design Team has been hard at work implementing all the wonderful dialogue that the Writing Team created while ironing out some of the more stubborn kinks for building a pet simulator in our given engine.


And there you have it. All the juicy gossip you can want about the development of our new game, Puppy Lust. What? You want more? Fine... I'm pretty sure I saw FD making out with their good twin, but you didn't hear it from me.
