Wow, for a moment I thought you yourself will somehow become a commercial astronaut (Dear Moon anyone?) and you are already training for that.

Very good. Works well. FWIW - spin and 2 G turns was eliminated from civilian flight training. However, my instructor insisted on it, and it was fun, although one spin got away from me. Later, the first time I got thrown a curve ball I could handle it. Was on my first turn out of pattern on a gusty day, and the right wing went up through a wind shear layer. Got turned on longitudanal axis more than 90 degrees, pretty close to the ground---snap. I was able to maintain situational awareness and react immediately. But, with the adrenalin, everything sounds louder, etc.. I totally get the value of this training. It's not just about specifics scenarios. It's conditioning to "keep flying" no matter what.

I watched this while in the middle of studying for my private pilot license. It's a very very long way from that to flying a MiG-29... but it's still on the same path.
