Update (Patreon)

I gave up on notebooks. I've had too much troubles with this hardware, the real fast ones are way too expensive, but don't last longer than all others, for round about 3 years. The last one was unable to start any OS by CD, like CloneZilla. PartedMagic or even the installation CD of Xubuntu. Not to mention the big troubles to send these crappy parts back, wasted time and energy, combined with a lot of pains. I've got me a frame for my bed, made for laptops (I ordered this part before I knew that the new notebook doesn't work), now I put the screen and keyboard of my PC on it. A bit unsteady and cumbersome when I want to get up, but it has to work. I'll probably get me a UPS (uninterrupted power supply) as well, the power supply here is quite unreliable, the big advantage of a notebook, to have the batteries working as UPS. In other words, I'm back to work again.
