As mentioned in the previous News post, We are going to be holding a poll for the next update content. We want to give everyone some info regarding that.

What will be included in every update?
So, we aim to include New outfits, animations, and bug fixes in every major update. This sort of content is a must-have.

What are we voting for?
The game still has a long way to go. We've added bare-bones systems to give all of you an idea of our ability and the direction of the game. With that said, the systems still need a lot of work. So, you'll basically be voting on which system/ part of the game you want us to work on.

What are our options?
We have a handful of options for you! We will list them below to better explain.

Combat Update
This update will add more attacks to the combat system along with a new Buff/Debuff system. It will also include 3 types of AI difficulty to the game, which you can change in the settings menu

Difficulty - You'll be able to select from 3 different difficulties in the settings menu. These will change how Enemy AI acts. 

Buffs and Debuffs - This will add new attacks to characters depending on their class. These attacks will give debuffs and buffs. These could be anything from healing, poisoning, distracting, and other things.

Overall improvements - Things like turns will be decided by stats instead of being random. Better descriptions for attacks. Rework of how damage is calculated. Choice of rewards for defeating enemies.

Brothel Update

This update will focus on the clients, workers, and receptionists. The goal is to add more complex mechanics that you, the player, can take advantage of.

Worker likes and dislikes - We'll add a system that determines if a certain worker likes or dislike a client. This will be decided by the client's stats and the worker's stats and traits. If a worker dislikes a client they will lose more mood and stamina unless compensated with a bonus. If they like a client they will lose less mood and stamina.

Receptionist - You'll be able to hire a receptionist to automatically manage the workers. You'll also be able to tell the receptionist to prioritize workers depending on the level or money made.

Class and Traits Update

This update will give you more starting classes to choose from when creating your character. It will also contain more classes for NPCs. You'll be able to acquire characters with unique classes by meeting people at the bar or doing events in the slums. This Update will also include changes to the traits system and the different traits available.

Base Traits - Traits will now affect a multitude of things. Each trait will have its own benefits which you can view by hovering or clicking on it in the traits menu. New traits will also be added. Base Traits are traits that a character is created with and cannot be changed or removed.

Gained Traits - These Traits will also affect a multitude of things. Unlike Base Traits, Gained traits can be acquired or removed based on the character's actions.

Classes - New unique classes will be added for the player character and NPCs. Each class will have base stats and unique attacks.

Stage Update

This update will bring some much need functions to the stage menu, along with room upgrades. The room info page will also be updated to show worker info, quality requirements, and other things.

Functions - New mini icons will be added to room icons to indicate if it's in use (a worker is satisfying a client), upgraded, or empty (If show workers is toggled off). You'll also have the ability to toggle worker icons on and off to help manage rooms.

Room Upgrades - New room upgrades will be added to improve the room's base quality or even increase the room's revenue by increasing capacity. Room Upgrades will take time to build and will make the room unusable until the upgrade is completed.


Events/Gameplay Update
This update will focus on getting the main gameplay and events. We will add the events that you've come to expect like the gang visit, late-night visits, shower event and workers asking for a raise. We will also the shop system and have hours of operation for the shop and bank.

Gang Visits - Like the original, a group of thugs will come every week to collect a percentage of your dept. You can pay them or fight them.

Late-night visits - Workers may come to your cabinet after work hours for some individual "attention".

Shower event - When visiting the shower you may come across someone already using it. *wink *wink

Asking for a raise - If a worker has gained levels they may ask for a raise after hours

Shop System - We will finally add the shop system so you can buy clothing for your workers.
