Hello everybody, my name is the gentle viking, and we're back with the first edition of Simbro ResErection News! Let's start off by saying that Simbro ResErection news will be our new post title for information regarding the game.

This time is a little different regarding updates about the game. I'd like to focus more on what's coming, rather than what we are working on.

Patreon Tier Changes
First, as mentioned before, we will be changing tier rewards/perks. All tiers will receive game updates two weeks before Steam, itch.io, and other platforms where you purchase the game outright. This is to simplify our release schedule. Next, all tiers will have access to cheats and other exclusive content to minimize the number of versions we make for the game. Right now, we have 11 different versions.

Now, I know what you're thinking, "What are the benefits of subscribing to a high tier?". Going forward, we will have monthly polls available to certain tiers. These polls will let you vote on clothing, hairstyles, game update direction, and more! Your tier will decide how your vote is tallied and which polls you can vote on. Simply put, every $5 USD a month you support us with counts as a vote. So, admires votes count as 1, supporter votes as 2, enthusiast votes as 4, and so on.

These changes are being made to make our work easier and to give you a voice. We want to devote more time to the game and this will help a lot.

My Available Time To Work On The Game
So, as many of you know, I have very little time to work on the game. At the absolute most, I get two days a week. This time is spent coordinating with artists, adding assets from those artists, programming, promoting, fixing bugs, answering questions, etc. Not anymore! Starting next week, I'll be working full-time on the game.

It's been a long-time dream of mine to work as a developer full-time. Even though the game isn't generating enough income to allow me to live off of it, I'm taking a chance and devoting myself entirely to the game.

What's coming in the next update?
We have lots to show you in the coming update including new expressions, hairstyles, hand gestures, and accessories for the male character. New animations for the "naughty" scenes. More interactions with people in the slums and more.

This update is sort of a tying up loose ends update. I've reworked how characters are saved and optimized a ton of code. I've also been experimenting with a skin colouring system to help diversify the females.

Our goal is to have something out next week around this time.
