Good afternoon, good evening, and good morning everyone! Back for another dose of update news.

Backgrounds
Mamacita is back with a new background! This one is the bedroom for servicing clients! We had to take some liberties with this one as the old art wouldn't work with our character models. As usual, Mamacita knocked it out of the park. I hope to use this background soon once the combat system is done.

UI Art
Our UI artist outdid herself with this one. This was the biggest UI asset to get done for the game. Not only because it's a prominent part of the game mechanics but because of the number of icons and other elements needed. I still have some tweaks to do, but those are minor. Currently, our artist is tasked with doing the combat UI, and I hope to hear from them soon.

Character Art
I am still waiting for SkullZombie to get back with some more character art. He has had a lot of irl stuff to deal with. I always tell my artists that irl stuff comes first, so I'm not worried. I hope things get sorted out soon for their sake.

Programming
So, we don't have a new alpha this time around. This is mainly due to me trying to fix a crash in the HTML5 version. Speaking of the HTML5 version, I'm starting to see its instability after working with it for a while. I constantly need to test it in the engine, export it, upload it to a website, and test it again. The exported version can have bugs and crashes that the in-engine version didn't. As you can imagine, this is time-consuming. So, I've been buckling down to try and move away from HTML5. To do this, I need to make a Linux and Mac version for our patrons that don't have a windows PC or android. The good news is I already have a Linux build ready and have personally financed a mac mini to start making a mac version. I still want to develop HTML5 but I don't want it to hold back releases like it is now.

I've also been working on other things, as seen in the images above. I won't waste time talking about that, as it's pretty late here, but I'll address it in the next update.

Outro

Things are quickly expanding. We almost have all the backgrounds needed for the demo, we are nearing the completion of all the UI, and the game is slowly taking shape. I always want to iterate that it's not just our team's hard work but also your support. Thanks for all your support, and I hope to have more news next update.

Thank you for the regular updates! Simbro used to be a favorite game of mine back in the day and I am super happy to see you guys working on a reboot! Can't wait to have the first "playable" versions with content in the future :)
