Striped Hyena (Patreon)

So this was a fun and unique painting as I got to try out phosphorus paint for the first time. So the termites glowing, the hyena and the green edges glow in the dark.
I varnished this is a gloss as I didn't know it matte varnish would effect the phosphorus glowing as well as I liked the gloss on this it really brought out the darker textures.

I really do love striped hyenas, after cats they have to be one of my favourite animals. I'm hoping on our trip to Germany I'll be able to see some in tierpark zoo.
