Hi my friends!

Here comes your exclusive preview of tomorrow’s Mentour NOW episode. This time we are taking a deep-look into the cancelling of the Boeing 757 and whether it could have been prevented.

The 757 is one of my favorite airliners of all time so I loved making this video and I hope you will like it to.

PS: This is the first video shot in my new studio in Andorra! I hope you will like it. :DS

Pilots and passengers alike just LOVED this beautiful aircraft, but the last one rolled out of Boeing’s Renton factory in October 2004 – EVEN though it’s a much newer design than the 737. Why did Boeing do this and… why didn’t they just develop some version of the 757, that could replace the 737 back then – WELL before the 737 MAX family was launched? I think Boeing has made a poor decision about abandoning the NMA as it is going to phase out the 737 family and I think will need a similar aircraft. I believe it better to have a design not necessarily an actual but. the concept and keep it updated. That way when it comes to a 737 replacement since there is no 757 will be easier.

Petter, I am very interested to hear pilots say, "This is a beautiful plane." Or, "This plane is not too nice." Or maybe, "This plane is ugly." But, being a non pilot, I don't know what makes a plane "beautiful". Please consider doing a presentation about what pilots find "beautiful" (or "ugly") about a plane. Is it power, control responsiveness, speed, low speed, cockpit physical comfort, FMS and auto pilot features and performance, stability, etc.? I know that I would enjoy and learn from such a presentation. I believe that others would as well. Looking forward to learning more from you. I always enjoy your well done informative and interesting videos. Thank you!
