The New Mentour App! (Patreon)

Hi my friends! As most of you probably know, I have been working on a Big upgrade of the Mentour Aviation app.

The new app is significantly different and will come with new and cool updates continuously. The first iteration of the app is now available and I will be launching it during the coming weeks.

It’s available on any device, no need to download anything (but you can “add it” to your home screen if you want) Just go to 👉🏻 https://app.mentourpilot.com and start using it, it’s that simple.

If you had my old app, you can use the same login and if you had a “premium” subscription, it should work on this app as well.

Every Patreon over 10$ per month will get a free Premium membership, you just have to contact me to activate it if you haven’t already. Send me an email on Petter@mentourpilot.com and I will get it sorted.

So what’s new?

Well, the app has dark and light mode as standard, it works on any device, including desktops.

We are introducing an AI driven pilot called Aidan who is trained to answer aviation questions, especially for nervous flyers.

The news are available, directly from the website and you can comment in the app. You can also ask Aidan to summarize the article for you or translate it to any language. He will also be able to answer questions about it.

If you are traveling, you can enter your flight number (within 36h) and you will get a picture of your route as well as information about turbulence, crosswind etc. You can then ask Aidan about what you will be flying over and what you can do at your destination.

All 360 instructional videos are now available for anyone with a Premium subscription and you can watch them on Desktop if you want a larger screen. They are still a bit grainy but I am planning to re-make them with better equipment, soon.

When it comes to my videos, I’m planning to upload ad-free versions of the videos for Premium users and you will also be able to listen to the videos in “podcast” mode if you are commuting or driving and you don’t want to watch the screen.

All parts of the app can be shared on social media and I ask everyone to consider doing that, if you have an interesting flight or Aidan gives a funny answer for example. Just use the (+) function in the bottom right corner to share or the “share” icon next you your question to Aidan.

My next feature which is still in the works, is a series of videos for Nervous flyers. That will also be Premium content.
