Hi my friends! I’m back with the first video of the year which will debute on the NOW channel.

Today I would love to try a new thing. I will send you the link to the video soon. We have had to alter a few things, hence the late preview.

I would like you all to preview the video as soon as you can, after you get the link. 30 minutes later, I will invite you to a shorter zoom hangout and we can discuss the video live.

How does that sound?

I didn't have a chance to watch the video in time to join zoom but still want to comment on it. I appreciate that you addressed this issue and I doubt that someone in the US would have done such an objective job. Boeing does get plenty of flack - probably well deserved - but we don't get both sides of the story. An example is how the company has been entwined with FAA and NTSB, opening the door to criticism within the industry that Boeing has been allowed to conduct their own certification. Boeing is one of the most litigious companies in the country. Its lawsuits are sometimes routinely used as a method to deal with a dispute when in fact they could have either mitigated or entirely avoided perceived damages, or actually be on top right from a concept inception. Corporate greed is expensive, not just in money, but in a basic overall outcome as well. The bottom line here is, as you so eloquently explained, that the C Series could have been all theirs, if not for a myriad of crappy decisions.

Hi Petter Hope you had an invigorating vacation, and are ready to dive into the new year. Did you hear about the unfortunate episode involving Air India, and a passenger who became so inebriated, he urinated on a fellow passenger? Details in this article from Aljazeera: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/1/6/air-india-slammed-by-regulator-over-handling-of-unruly-passenger I don't have any comments on the specifics of the situation; media reporting is notoriously unreliable. However the incident does raise a couple of general questions about cabin crew training with respect to, one, monitoring and regulating the alcohol intake of passengers, and two, handling of passengers who by whatever circumstances, end up with their clothing and seat soiled. If you have any comments or insight on crew training for these scenarios, I would be fascinated to hear it. Best regards.
