Hi everyone!

Here comes your preview of tomorrows release on the Mentour Pilot channel. I really enjoyed researching and making this video because it includes several important learning lessons for all pilots out there.

I hope you will find it interesting and I’m looking forward to your feedback.

One thing: I know it was a female captain but the simulator software defaulted to a male person in the cockpit. We couldn’t change that unfortunately.

I'm reminded of the video on the Colgan air flight and the video about subsequent mandating of the 1500 hour rule, without the ability of airlines to access pilot training records. The captain had training deficiencies, but plenty of hours. Thankfully no-one was killed. Is it safer to crash in deep snow? I'm thinking of the Gottrora miracle

Regarding US Congress …. I’m not sure.. considering they live of donations, it might be some loaded interest group behind it unless the families had some money in a PAC. And the emotional aspect, knowing the republican key topics currently, I don’t think that one would make it in the top 10…. My theory is that some organization with money, eventually airlines, have an interest in that rule & bribed accordingly
