Excellent points that you’re making. One hypothesis that I have though that wasn’t mentioned and might be a bit tainted by personal experience is that those 3 majors are a bit connected to the hub model & still operate their regionals in that fashion. I think It takes a bigger sample than 2 examples to prove/disprove the hypothesis…I used to live in Cleveland and you’d usually get the AA Eagle flight to JFK or the United express to Chicago O’Hare…whereas mentioned JetBlue or southwest seem to rather have a point to point idea in my opinion..but sure a lot of food for thought in your video & would be a great discussion topic at a future Hangout :-)

This is a good point as well. They do tend to fly the same routes, reiterating "regional".
