New app - Question (Patreon)

Hi my friends and supporters. I have a little problem and I need help from you guys who I consider my closest supporters.

I am in negotiations with a major app developer about creating the second version of the Mentour 360 application. This application will be significantly smaller to download (around 50mb) and connected to a backend server that will allow me to upload new material as often as I want.

Here comes the problem and the reason I need your ideas and suggestions. 

My idea is to make the application free to download. I am planning to call it "Mentour aviation" or something similar (feel free to come with suggestions) and I want to add at least 1 free video inside of it. The problem is that I will have to pay the server a fixed amount per download. This means that, since the app is free, I will face the risk of people only downloading the app and the free video and never buying the paid video bundles, thus only costing money and never cover the cost of the investment.

My plan is to release the app, have 1 free video inside and then provide video bundles of around 4 videos for a price of around 1-2 Euros. I will then continue to create short video-courses of whatever you guys want me to do. Approaches, how to set up the cockpit before flight, failures, everything you guys would think is interesting.

What do you think? Will this work or do you have any better suggestions on how I should go about this?
