Hi my friends and supporters.

I have decided that the Mentour NOW! channel is a bit to uptight and that’s not what I wanted. Do I have decided to create short, reaction type, videos for current events which might need a bit of explanation.

On the 19th of June 2022, a SpiceJet Bowing 737-800 suffered a bird-strike to its left engine during takeoff. The aircraft continued takeoff but suffered several compressor stalls during climb-out causing long flames to shoot out from the affected engine. This was caught on passengers who then uploaded it to Twitter and in todays video, I just wanted to explain what it is that actually happened on the flight. It landed safely about 20 minutes after takeoff with the left engine shut down and all 185 passengers and crew were safe. Thanks for the explanation. Ive been on an aircraft that had a compressor stall. It was scary but the pilot came on and explained it right away and calmed everyone down.
