What happened to American Airlines flight 96?!

Get 70% off on the Two year deal with Nord VPN and a further month OFF using this code 👉🏻 https://www.nordvpn.org/pilot or use the coupon code “pilot” On the 12th of June, 1972 , American Airlines flight 96, a McDonnel Douglas DC10-10, suffered a sudden depressurisation when its rear cargo-door detached inflight over Windsor, Ontario. This explosive failure partly disabled the aircrafts flight controls as well as one engine. The Pilots and Cabin-crew managed to get the stricken aircraft down safely on the ground, saving everybody onboard. In this episode I will explain what happened and WHY. Now! Thank you very much! I would like to appreciate, how you cleared the mistake in the documentary about the hole in comparison to the final report. And although I would be happy, when this could have been the end of the story, I am looking forward to your explanation of (as far as I know from judicial documents) entirely avoidable and extremely sad ending of this story, flight TK 981. Like for example Alaska 261 these consequences of human opportunism make me sad every time I hear about that. Stay safe!

The "Flying Pig" sadly gave several learning opportunities early in it's lifetime. It's good to be reminded that a well-trained and current crew can overcome even these kinds of obstacles.
