How to handle stress

Hi! In this video I will be talking about stress. What is it? How can we deal with it and how do professional pilots deal with stress? Enjoy my friends! Welcome! On this channel you can expect video-blogs, technical instructions, flying techniques and much more about the wonderful world of commercial aviation and the life of airline pilots.

Hi! This is a very serious situation and, using normal CRM principles, should never occur. If, in your opinion, the captain is so saturated that it can be identified as incapacitation, you can take control of the aircraft. This is an extreme and should be considered a very last resort. Remember that whoever has controls during a serious malfunction will ALWAYS be more saturated than the PM. If you take control it is likely that you will end up in a similar state but with the CRM severely degraded. You should, as much as possible, assist the PF as much as possible and clearly state any danger to the aircraft. Does that make sense?

Like you said normally keeping the communication with the captain (in mutual respect) is really important. I deliberately gave an extreme example like this because I also try to learn how should a new pilot must behave in these extreme conditions. Thank you for your reply. Have a nice day :)
