Aeroflot Jet crash update! Why did the FO jump out the window?

Why did the FO jump out of the cockpit window?! That and many other questions will be discussed in todays SPECIAL about the horrible accident in Moscow last Sunday. Synopsis: On Sunday the 5th of May an Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet, flight 1492 between Moscow and Murmansk, crashed after a suspected lightning strike. The footage released shows a very hard landing followed by a few bounces and a fire-ball after which the aircraft veered sharply to the left before exciting the runway. An emergency evacuation was quickly initiated through the forward emergency exits. From what can be seen from the video footage, people were taking their hand-luggage with them during the evacuation. In this episode I will explain a bit about why it is so important to evacuate the aircraft QUICKLY and leave everything behind. I will also talk about evacuations from a cockpit procedure point of view as well as how the fire-fighters will work.
