Hi my friends and supporters. Here comes your preview of this weeks Thursday release. I have made a slightly shorter video this week because I am working on a bigger video for the coming week regarding Flaps.

Let me know what you think about the video, there is still to make changes.

Thanks again for your help and support!

Why do we call it a Cockpit?

In todays video I will be giving you some background to why the cockpit is called "COCKPIT". What is the background, where did it come from etc. Feel free to join the discussion in the "Mentour Aviation" app chat after the video where professional pilots, pilot students and aviation enthusiasts come together and discuss things in a positive and constructive way. Also, feel free to buy a flight instruction video from the app. For less than the price of a hamburger you can learn how to set up the Boeing 747NG, fly a TCAS manoeuvre, do a Rejected Takeoff and emergency evacuation or fly a CAT 3 approach and lots more. Use the links below to get the app! IOS: https://appstore.com/mentouraviation Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamta.mentouraviation

Very interesting as always, this has answered a question I've had. I think this video could also attract people who are not so passionate about aviation but just wondering the meaning of cockpit.

Fantastic video. I had often wondered about this and you gave a very good answer. I can see this video being popular with a broad range of viewers: obviously pilots and enthusiasts but also the general travelling public. Once the video goes live I intend to share it with a community for the discussion of the English language apin all its weirdness.
