That's right, we here at Doc's Machine are on the very cutting edge... of forty-year-old paintball technology. :)

The Splatmaster was the first gun made specifically for the sport of paintball... in 1984. :)

The one and damn near only hot trick for them back in the day was a CO2 cartridge plug with a larger knob, to make changing them faster and easier.

I've been making them in low numbers for years, and had an order for a small handful, so I whipped up a video of the process. It's more  a 'machining' video than a 'paintball' one, but hopefully you still get a kick out of it. :)

I still have my Splatmaster that I bought in 1987 while stationed in West Germany. I was still using it to play against kids with newer semi-auto markers in the late 90s and early naughts and wiping the floor with those young punks.
