Needed to do some sketching today, and decided I'd do up a video of it.

... I really was hoping it'd be better. :)

Ever since I switched to doing the strip entirely digitally, my pen-and-paper skills have gone downhill. Odd that if you don't practice a complex task for a couple of years, you lose your touch a bit... :)

No idea what was going on with the audio. I thought the mic battery might be dying, but I checked, and it's still got plenty of power. Maybe it was so quiet, it was periodically ramping up the gain to try and "find" something... I suppose I need to start breathing harder or take up nose-humming or something.

I dug around for some decent music to fill in the dead air, but there's tens of thousands of clips on hundreds of sites- and most of 'em aren't what I'm looking for. Where does Clickspring get his music?

Anyway, yeah, it's a crap video, but hopefully the next one'll get better.

The Whiteboard: Just Sketchin'!

Needed to do some sketchin', and since I've gone all-digital for the comic, my old pen-and-paper skills aren't quite as clean as they used to be. :) So I got out a stack of my handy-dandy Official TWB Warm-Up Sketchin' Pad (pat pend) dusted off a mechanical pencil and a couple of Micron pens, ... aaaannd proceeded to make some of the worst sketches I've done in years. :) Clearly I need a lot more practice. I sped up the first couple to just so the video isn't interminably long, though I'm not sure what was going on with the audio. Battery in the mic might be dying, I'll have to check that. Last sketch was at normal speed.
