My biggest and best video yet! The full restoration of one of the closest things we have to an antique in the sport of paintball! A rare early-generation maker that was only made from around 1986 to late 1987, and is so rare today that few players have even heard of it, let alone actually used one.

(I haven't yet found anyone who has actually used one in a game.)

And sorry about Monday's filler- getting this video finished and uploaded turned out to be a all-day circus.

Let me know what you think!

Restoring an antique Puma paintball marker

A full restoration of a couple of the rarest antiques in paintball- Puma pumps! Only made from 1986 to 1987, and only in relatively small numbers, few players have even seen one, let alone used one. www.docsmachine.com www.the-whiteboard.com www.patreon.com/docsmachine

Average player tinkering with marker: "I can't find a removal tool for this marker's guts, I guess I should get a new one once this stops working." Doc N: *Calmly heads for lathe and scratch builds tools* You have to love to see that absolute professionalism and experience at work. Beautiful classics brought back from the rusty circles of hell.

A PUMA? Oh wow. I remember possibly APG #1 had a "How to use a Puma" article in it. That was 1987 or thereabouts.

Great video! Some narrative would be helpful to follow the action.

That issue has basically *the only* article on a Puma anyone's ever found, We've only found one magazine ad that even listed a price!

It is really surprising that this species is one of the rarest. And you managed to restore it so well. Thanks for your hard work!

When asked for comment, Bandit said, "Sure, it's a fine marker, I guess, if you need something that fancy and high-tech."

Opus the Poet

I loved the rubber ducky in the sink.

Steve Cox

I used an original Tippman SMG-60, circa 1989.

I bet those lowers would look really nice powder coated. It doesn't look quite as sharp as nicely anodized aluminum, but it's way less of a pain to do yourself and it works on any metal.

Never saw the Puma, but I still have my Nel Spot 007.
