Anybody spot the 'twist' yet?
Doc.
Dialogue:
(Watson is cradling Holmes; there is a bloodstain on Holmes' shoulder)
Watson: Holmes! Are you badly hurt?!
Holmes: (softly) 'Tis but a flesh wound...
Watson: Not from where I'm sitting! We need to get you to a doctor!
Holmes: You are a doctor.
Watson: (scowling nervously) So I am...
(Watson is bandaging Holmes' shoulder. Holmes is sitting in his undershirt. The bandage is torn from Holmes' blouse.)
Watson: We have no carbolic, nothing to probe the wound--Holmes, we need to get you to town, to a proper surgeon--
Holmes: I will live, Watson. Have no fear. (grumbles) Ruined a good shirt...
Watson: (earnestly) Whoever fired that bullet tried to kill you! It was a warning! We are clearly dealing with desperate men!
Watson: This has bothered be from the beginning--Holmes, give up this case!
Holmes: It will take more than a pinprick to dissuade me, Watson.
(Watson is fumbling with wrapping the bandage)
Watson: Holmes, I'm serious! I am begging you--
Holmes: Watson, we have known each other for years. I know when you are upset. Your concern for my welfare is touching...
Holmes: ...but concentrate on what you are doing. You are making an absolute hash of that bandage--for an Army doctor!
