As you ladies and gents blew right past my last milestone, I figured I'd best get moving on it. That promise was to catch up on all- or as many as I can- of the old strips that I hadn't finished for one reason or another, usually for time constraints.

A helpful Guild member whipped up a good list of them, mostly through the start of the color, and I'll be chewing my way through that one probably right up 'til the end of the year.

That's only an additional four a week or so... on top of the five a week I'm doing now... plus the extra two to four a week for Roger's story... And I *do* still have customer work in the shop, with more on the way... :)

Anyway, this strip is from Valentine's Day 2012, and is one of the strips I retroactively colored- the color started just after TWB's 10th Anniversary, with the last time Roger pushed the "Do Not Push!" button. After that strip, almost all the strips going back to the previous six months appeared as color as well.

This one got skipped when I did that, as the word balloons and candle shading were going to be time consuming, so as I was so short on time, at the time, I set it aside in favor of easier strips.

I won't be posting ALL the Milestone update strips here, but I did want to announce I'm starting on them. And, since we're just about to get to the good part, I wanted to save the Roger's Story strips- If this weekend isn't too busy, I'm hoping to get enough done so that we can have a solid run, all five days next week.

Stay tuned, and as always, thanks for reading!

Ha, very cute!

Candle shading? Heck, the monopoly board and pieces alone (which you completely nail, btw!) would have made me cry as I colored. Each. House. And. Each. Hotel. And.... ARGH! (Yeah, I know, it was partly a cut and paste, at least of the color layer. But STILL....)

Wine is always best heated by candle flame and love's soft glow...........and in your underwear. (Hey, don't knock it 'til you've tried it!)
