So, Pirta is going to need a really good full body shake to clear her pelt? or a once over with a brush nozzle on a Shop Vac?

I guess the question to be answered here is this: How is a player "legally" allowed to deliver a paintball to a target? Does it have to be sent from a device? Can they just throw paintballs at each other? Could they spit paintballs? (I'm looking at you, Mr., Anteater!) The delivery of the paintball is really the thing at question here.

Didn't Bandit use paintballs he picked up off the ground to "tag" other players?

I cheated and saw today's panel. And remembered Bandit would go out without any ammo, pick up paintballs and tag players with them. Can't remember exact panels/books he did this in, but it was kind of a running gag.

When I use to ref at the local field we would let a very specific player have someone else shoot a pinecone on a stick and tag others out with it. It only worked once though.

TWB page 349, 2004-08-20. Bandit was infamous for hiding and tagging other players in weird and unexpected ways.

Bandid would not go out without any ammo. He'd go out with _minimal_ ammo and minimal or no CO2. He once used a barrel as a blowgun.

Bandit didn't pick up used ammo. He used his own ammo. But he'd buy a box of tubes of 12 balls a tube.

That comic poses some very interesting questions. But since technically you can be called out by kneeling on a ball, I don't see how whence the ball came from or how it was delivered comes into it. The only rule I would impose is, the ball must be unbroken up to the point where it makes contact with the player.
