Follow up Question for Pirta. "I thought you hated Roger (and, possibly, Packrat) more than Doc?

LOL! Well it's got Miki's approval. I'm sure any service worker would love that anti-fuckwit-customer system in the turret!

Wonders what Doc is making or coating the pipes with for his batches of Mountain Dew and coffee. I doubt most standard materials would survive long

Mika in that is scary... Also, it's the entirely wrong vehicle to start with for a coffee stand... A Russian Zis-43 might be a better option. (It's a Zis-5 truck with half-tracks and sloped armor, and usually a cannon... ) Or if you want to be sensible, a surplussed Vityaz DT-30 if you can find one. It should be large enough to hold not just coffee, but also donuts...

High-density polyvinylchlorinate pipes are surprisingly durable, and almost impossible to chemically dissolve.

Thanks Doc! Just about how I imagined it being!!

I'm reminded of the coffee engine that Agatha Hetrodyne "repaired": http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20070618

Well, the half-track didn't explode . . . yet.

They'd be just as poor as that Mercedes Benz L4500 half track Doc modified. Their load beds are simply too high for use as a mobile coffee shop. Think about how low the floors are in caravans, which makes them low enough to set up food shops in. It means staff don't have to bend down a large amount all the time to serve customers.
