Going a little off-track for a bit, ladies and gents. I've been  working like a dog to try and get a multitude of projects finished up  and out the door before the end of the year. January and part of February are generally a slow-ish time for me anyway (at least as far as  sales and custom work) and I would very much like to have my tables as  clear as possible before the end of the year, so I don't have any- or at  least as few as possible- proverbial albatrosses hanging around my neck. :D

I realized I haven't been able to give as much attention to the tourney storyline as I need to- you people have only been waiting for it for the  better part of a decade, I should at least make it as good as I can- and for the moment, I kind of can't do both. :D

Well, we haven't had a good holiday storyline in a while (except maybe for Halloween :D ) so I figured I'd skip over to a quick, out-of-sequence short series  about Doc and Cara and their first Christmas. (If you ignore last year's  conflagration. :) )

And second, just 'til the end of the year, I'll be dropping back to the old three-day-a-week schedule, Monday,  Wednesday and Friday. With that extra time and the break from the  important storyline (relatively speaking :D ) I should be able to get all my work done and maybe even have a few days of breathing room before the end of the year.

Both the Tourney storyline and the 5-day-a-week schedule will return on Wednesday, January 1st.

And as always, thank you all for reading, and I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and all the Happy Holidays! :)

Doc.

Do what you need to do, we'll be here. Happy to see the new couple's first Christmas, actually.

It is more important that it works for you but this plan and schedule works fine with me.

It's a busy time of year, so we'll wait while you do what needs to be done. Though if that could also include some holiday cheesecake, then all the better ... :-)

We’re with ya Doc! Be sure to take some time for yourself this month too! Also, I second the call for cheesecake “filler”!

Don’t worry about us Doc. Take care of your business priorities first and foremost. We will still be around. We understand it’s the Christmas rush and your business takes priority.

This makes me sad. This is your fault. You owe me a happy.

'Tis better far to make up for it next year, than work yourself to death now.

Take the time, do it right. We'll enjoy the interlude 😄

Yup, can only do so much per day, better to take the time to do things right than to go crazy rushing about. We'll get along just fine.
