There's a comics convention going on up here on Saturday, so I took some spare time this past week and put these little giveaway comics together. I'd hoped to make an actual storyline comic, but I just didn't have the time to write a new one.

So this comic is kind of an "introduction to TWB", showing some single panels that are funny enough on their own, but also intriguing enough to make you wonder what the context was. :) Each page has it's own sort-of-description, like "Follow along as they deal with customers!" (Guy at counter holding GAU-134 Minigun: "Can I return this?" Doc: "Do you have the receipt?")

It's panels from back in the B&W days, but lightly redone and fully colored, with, of course, URLs to the comic. I'll have a pile with me, and plan to hand them out, or maybe resort to just flinging them at people while yelling "Take this!" :)

Why #2? The original idea for this came from my old print guy, who whipped up a nine-panel standalone comic just like this, as a similar giveaway to include in with book and T-shirt orders, back in 2006.

We always planned to do more, but when he bailed in '10, that kind of put the kibosh on all sorts of little side projects like this.

But, now that I have full in-house print capabilities, all I need to do is find the time to put something like this together, There will be more, it'll all just depend- as always- on time and inspiration. :)

After the con, by the way, these will start being included in most orders out of both my Storenvy store and off eBay, as they say, while supplies last. :)

Do you have any of the #1s left so you can recreate it?
