In my experience as a furry, I can confirm that cartoon anthropomorphic raccoons are, indeed, quite bouncy.

Seeing this strip on the live page today, I realized that Roger should either have hit the wall face-first or upside-down. Hitting the floor on his back in the second frame, he'd have to do a half-twist in mid-air to hit the wall with his back. It looks like you noticed this too, as the preview here has the middle frame flipped from the live strip. Unfortunately you've only moved where he needed to twist from between frames 1 and 2 to between frames 2 and 3. Maybe an easy fix would just be to add a 'curl' to the motion blur in frame 3, to suggest Roger intentionally turning in midair to take the hit on his back.
