Well the end of this month has been a bit difficult, with violent storms and a ton of rain falling on my region and creating floods all across the country.. I spent a good part of the day helping at my sister's home where the basements got flooded. Not very pleasant >> I hope you are more dry where you live XP

No but in city of Houston texas usa we had a really bad storm a few days ago. Tornado and floods and hail. Never experienced one that bad in my area before now

Nooo, floods are awful. Our house got flooded once and it took at least a month to fix everything. moving furniture out and getting in some huge fans that blew 24 hours a day to try and dry out the carpet and everything. I hope nothing expensive or precious was damaged at your sister's house...

Living in southern California, I have thankfully never had to deal with flooding. But I've also never had to deal with having enough water, either... Keep safe out there! :)

We had those all around Germany too causing tons of damage that went into the multiple millions and even an unusual high number of people who lost their lives in the storms :( . Luckily my hometown wasn't hit that hard (apart from some heavy ongoing rain which wasn't as bad as it may sound) . Relieved to hear that everything's all right with ya and your sister too :-) . That's all that matters. Material goods may be replaced but humans can not.

woot, i though you lived near paris? (at least it's what shows in eka's members map.) either way, good luck with the storms, especially if you actually live in the south, mistral and tramontane can be awry at times xD

Oh yes indeed there is something frustrating at the helplessness you feel at water invading your house.. There is just nothing to do but endure >> Fortunately besides a couple of soaked books nothing of much value was lost :)

ack I'm sorry to hear that... In certain zones it's reaching some records across France indeed. Here as long as the river Seine don't rise too much we should be safe though ^^

Yikes. Flooding can be pretty harmful, so I don't envy you having to deal with that sort of damages. I have to admit, I'm not looking forward to this years hurricane season either. ^^; Anyway, I know I say the same thing every month, but sometimes predictable is fine I guess: You totally deserve all the support you're getting. :)
