Please be a little more patient ^^;

it's truly a great feeling to see so much people who are looking forward to it. but it can also be a little overwhelming.. I receive a lot of message asking me "when?" and it creates quite a bit of stress..

I will also admit I have a recurring problems with deadlines

They are very useful as they put a fair and needed pressure on me . For instance, once I announce an ETA for a project, there is no turning back and slacking off or being distracted by others projects become impossible.  So in one hand it gets things done.

However, on the other hand, as a deadline grows near I become increasingly nervous. There is something really special that happens when you work for long on a big project and you are about to finish it. you somehow need to come to term with it. Realize and accept it will soon be no longer in your hand and if you messed up something, well it's for good !

So...  what I'm getting at is the comic release will probably go past the deadline and take a little more days to complete. It seems a recurring pattern with my work :/

If I look back at the release of Check and mate for example it was exactly the same story. I recall it vividly because some of you were quite crossed with me ( and rightly so ) breaking the promise of the "end of the month" back then as well.  Same for Hard choices and same for, yes, every of my others comics.

I'm very sorry and I apologize that it's repeating again... However I want to be clear that we are just days away from the release I'm NOT going to go and say "ok three more weeks" or something like that. No it's measured in days, and it's very near but please be patient for a little while longer..

And also please keep in mind that if I'm taking this additional time, it's also to propose to you a high quality comic, something you will really enjoy and will make it worth the wait. And I'm pretty sure it's going to be my best vore comic to date :)

So thank you for your understanding and for your awesome support, and please be patient for just a little more ! :)

You don't owe us a thing until we've actually paid for your comic. Until then, just blow off all the incessant whining. It's done when it's done, and you shouldn't rush it out because a bunch of rude people are impatient.

Don't sweat it, it'll probably be a while before I can buy it anyways because of the way my budget is managed. I still haven't even gotten check and mate yet v_v but ONE OF THESE DAAAAAYS! Personally I'm more eagerly following your side projects than your main ones right now :P Speaking of side projects, since you're up to second job level, does this mean we can vote on a themed comic come September? Because I have a few ideas to throw out there for people to decide on >:3

I apologize if any of my comments have added to this stress. They were mostly intended as playful and encouraging. And honestly, if it's as near as you say it is, then it's actually closer than I anticipated, which makes me very excited - but I won't be marking down days or anything. I understand that it'll be done when it's done. Thank you for your efforts, Karbo.

Your comics are always worth the wait, so I have no problem waiting a little longer. : )

I've seen the comic, and trust me, it's more than worth ANY wait, let alone a few extra days.

Don't stress about it one bit. I don't think anyone out there actually experiences any kind of harm in having to wait. If anything, delay of gratification builds will power.

From all the previews and amount of work into it from what I've seen, I think I'd have to agree to this one being worth the wait quite a bit as well heh. It's been shaping up lots and all the time and effort put into it is really showing- this will be one to remember ;)

Following you for about 5 years now (oh how time flies by ^_^ ) I've come to accept it and even if the release would take a few more weeks I would just say "Well ok then enough time for me to focus on some other things first." I can however understand that once an announcement on an ETA has been made and you've soon come to realise that the goal you set to yourself can't be met if some people are starting to get annoyed. Bad wording and ill manners aside (which of course are NOT and should NEVER be acceptable knowing that a lot of heartblood/your precious free time went into this HUGE project after all) even if it puts a lot of extra stress on you negative reactions to week/month delays (not talking about days here) are something one has to accept these days. Being disappointed and expressing that feeling towards someone (if done in a calm and polite way that is) is something we can't tell a person to just not do because F***K all criticism and quite normal and also IMPORTANT in my eyes. Without it one would never go into him-/herself thinking: "Hmm I received a lot of critical feedback on that 4 weeks delay. What can I do better to prevent something like that from happening again next time ?" P.S. Sorry for repeatedly trying to post the same comment. Patreon seems to be quite buggy on doing passages/edits ^^' .

I totally understand. Creative work like this always ends up taking longer then one expects, especially when it's a huge project like this comic. Honestly though, I'm the sort of person who waits 1-2 years after a game comes out to get a discount, so even if you did new a few extra weeks, I'm sure I'd be fine with that. As far as I'm concerned, take all the time you need, I have every confidence it will be more than worth the wait. :D

Well, a project worth something is a project done properly. Don't sweat over the delay, Karbo and bring the final touches you think it requires. :-)

Karbo

No problem, your comments are just fine :) It's mostly just the accumulation and some messages that are a bit less forceful...

Karbo

Thank you for your understanding ;) And you are right, the next time there are a couple things I will change. in particular, having really large comics being divided into two parts sound a good solution to me :)
