Celica drivers either hit the bottle if they're broke or do a turbo upgrade if they've got some cash and time. Could be the story progression - she gets a NOS bottle at first so she has like one or two speed bursts but is otherwise slow. Then later on she gets some big tips and saves up for a turbo build so she's faster all around?
