• Soulwarden’s Amulet

Wondrous Item (Necklace) | Uncommon | Requires Attunement

This sacred amulet is a testament to the unwavering light that stands against the encroaching darkness. Its design is both simple and profoundly symbolic, featuring a resplendent silver cross adorned with a brilliant, blood-red gem at its center.

When you wear the Soulwarden's Amulet, it envelops you in a protective aura, granting you resistance to the malevolent powers of necrotic energy—resistance against necrotic damage.

• Cursed Tome of Souls

Wondrous Item (Book) | Rare | Requires Attunement

This ominous book, adorned with a large golden skull on its cover, pulsates with dark energy and ethereal skulls that seem to gaze into your soul. Its pages contain haunting knowledge and the ability to cast the Chill Touch cantrip, drawing power from the afterlife.

The tome has 5 charges, and it regains all expended charges at dusk.

As an action, you can expend a charge to cast Chill Touch without using a spell slot.

Spectral Eruption. When casting Chill Touch using the Cursed Tome of Souls, you can expend 1 additional charge to enhance its power. The spell now deals an additional 1d8 necrotic damage on a hit. In addition, the target must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened until the end of its next turn.

• Revenant Ghost Blade

Weapon (Longsword) | Rare | Requires Attunement

This longsword's hilt is adorned with a giant cross-shaped pommel, and its blade emits an eerie, ghostly emerald glow. The sword is imbued with the essence of the afterlife, granting its wielder unique spectral powers.

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.

The sword has 3 charges and regains 1d3 expended charges at dusk.

Spectral Strike. When you hit a creature with the Revenant Ghost Blade, you can expend a charge to channel its spectral energy into your foe. The target takes an additional 1d6 necrotic damage, as the ethereal glow seeps into their very soul.

Curse of the Lost. On a critical hit with the Revenant Ghost Blade, the target must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target is overcome with dread and fear (frightened) for one turn.

• Sealed Spirit Vessel

Wondrous Item | Legendary | Requires Attunement

This enigmatic vessel appears as a grotesque mouth adorned with eerie spectral tentacles, a dark dragon's head, and the sinister visage of a malevolent wolf. Within it dwell tormented spirits of the afterlife, each ready to unleash its spectral might.

As an action, you can unleash one of the spirits from the Sealed Spirit Vessel, rolling a d6 to determine the attack:

(6) Kraken’s Embrace. Spectral tentacles extend to a target within 60 feet, forcing a DC 16 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the target is grappled and takes 14(4d6) necrotic damage each turn. It can use its action to make a DC 16 Strength check to escape.

(2-5) Vortex Fury. A spectral beast attacks a target within 60 feet. The target must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 22(6d6+1) necrotic damage and is frightened until its next turn. On a successful save, it takes half damage and isn't frightened.

(1) Unfortunate Release. The roll of a 1 on the dice triggers an unfortunate event. The vessel releases the Kraken's Embrace onto you.
