Each month, we’ll revisit a (Patron-voted) old series of choice to make a brand new sequel for it. This month it’s time for jittery, old bones with the Church’s Hidden Crypt.

Here’s part 04.

Darkness drenched the graveyard, the only light visible was from the time-worn tomb at the far end. It depicts an angelic figure standing, carved delicately, but slowly eroding away.
I stepped through the grounds, dodging forgotten graves. A few candles had been lit and placed in memory, others had died out in the duration of the night. Dying flowers bloomed in this graveyard; the majority of graves had a bouquet placed on top. Others had drenched letters from the rain. A thick mist carried itself through the graveyard, giving it a mysterious and eerie vibe.
I’ve come to find the necklace of an old, deceased woman. It is said that she was my client’s grandmother, and a dear one at that. The necklace must carry emotional significance. However, when I arrived at her tombstone… the grave was usurped. An empty, dug-out hole is all that remains. A sound in the far distance could be heard. I look up and see a shadow of sorts moving into the tomb at the far end. Perhaps this is the gravedigger… no, thief?

~ We’re hoping you enjoy these maps as much as we like making them. Stay tuned for another map later this month!
