It's another encounter with magic and mysticism for Miss Millie!  She needs to be careful who she hangs around with at those renaissance fairs, it seems.

Miss Millie’s learning curve is being accelerated, it would seem. Indeed, the enchanted airbrush is a true ally, as once again the glow from the mercurial candle is brilliantly suffused throughout the composition! To this end, excellent form to Millie’s figure and the two hovering tools, while the Wizard and his staff recede ethereally into the shadows, glowing as if they were a solarized negative, which not only separates the two figures visually, but conceptually as well. Strong radial composition too, and the way things narrow and come together towards the bottom lends the piece a mysterious other-worldly feel, as if a veil has indeed been passed through. Brilliant!

As the Wizard of Oz might say, "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!" If everyone finds out that the airbrush is doing most of the heavy lifting, they'll realize that I'm a sham. Glad you liked how this one came together!
