This is a very elegant and beautiful piece, I think, with a well thought out value structure and composition. Having the girls off to the right in the stacks while showing the deeper space going back on the left creates a private intimacy between them that is sweet, subtle, and one might say fragile, and which is reinforced by the value structure. I also think the curviness of the figures contrasts very well with the straight lines of the library environment, while the choice to keep the white of the Bristol where the girls’ breasts push up against the glass makes for a great overall focal point(s). What will Tammy’s Cheer Squad think when they realize she is making it with the Head Librarian?
