I just finished a new Tina piece, with a slightly different approach to both the concept and the execution of it.  That being said, I'm not sure it looks particularly different.  What do you think of it?

The high-resolution version of this piece is now uploaded to behindandysdames.com.

The original art for this is available for sale here: andysdames.bigcartel.com

Yes, it looks quite a bit different, reminds me of the old cartoons that were in Playboy magazine back in the 70's. And I love it. Lovely pinup! ❤️

It got the notice of the new picture but when we try to log in it says we have the wrong password, we never got a new PW sent to us this month.

Looks nice to me. My impression is that it is a bit less exaggerated and cartoony.

Sorry about that! I just reset the password for October, so you should be good to go. I'll send you a direct message as well.

This pic prompts many questions - is she alone? Who is she with? Does she dine like this often? Does the waiter know? Was this by choice or some kind of punishment? Not sure you have done a work lately that suggests so many different directions - well done!

Thanks! As usual, I leave it up to you to answer those questions. That's half the fun, right?

Well, I think it does and it doesn’t (if that doesn’t muddy the waters...). I think your brushwork is more considered, giving it a less cartoony look, though the overall look and style is still definitely yours. The contrast is more fine tuned and more clearly delineated/detailed, which adds to the more natural/realistic look as well. Probably the biggest difference is in the concept. While you have done these more elegant, less explicit pieces previously, this one seems to be pushing that idea farther than before, with the new approach in your execution being an integral element of that. The execution is as elegant as the concept, each reinforcing the other. Makes me think that differing styles of execution for differing concepts or levels of explicitness may be an interesting avenue to explore.

Excellent, it sounds like we're on the same wavelength here. Thanks for the feedback!
