Sorry I've been off the radar for a few days, guys.  The short version of my story is that my wife and I tried to buy a condominium south of Seattle, which didn't work out because of ugly problems with the property.  Then we tried to buy a different one, and went forward with the sale, only to have the bank tell us they'd made a mistake and we won't qualify for a couple more months.  We tried to salvage the deal, but just ended up with a huge mess to clean up with endless paperwork and phone calls. Better luck next time, eh?
